Sometimes we have to say goodbye.
There are times where you will fight for what you believe in. You'll never get tired trying, begging, and asking until you see a light towards your worth while goal. No one can stop you from being vigilant and resilient during your battle because you're hanging onto something that just keeps the fire burning in your heart.
But sometimes, when the battle drags you down, you realize ane ask yourself,
"What am I fighting for?"
Then you feel tired, you feel so fed up. You suddenly lose your spirit and suddenly your morale is down low. You lose track of what you were fighting for in the first place. Doubt, exhaustion, and fear suddenly creep their way into your being and slowly, surely devouring all strength that's left.
This is the time where you think of defeat, of giving up of surrender. You feel. Like you're just wasting your time. That you're fighting for a lost cause. That you've been fighting for naught. Not because you were weak. Not because you are a failure. The reason is because the one person giving you all the reason to fight is no longer interested in your battle. No longer gives you the reason to fight. Has. Already given up on you. No matter how hard you try, no matter how painful it is, there is no more reason to fight. The cause has already given up on you.
Now don't be afraid to say good bye. Don't lose yourself.
