This is what I'm talking about:
The majestic and awe-inspiring face of the Mayon Volcano, located at Legazpi, Albay in the Bicol Region. Standing at 2,463m (8,081ft), this Volcano is still tagged as active which means it can erupt anytime soon.
Though this volcano already has erupted a number of times in the past, still it has kept it's almost perfect conal shape. The photo above was taken a few kilometers away from the volcano itself. Being there personally, the experience is really overwhelming, all weariness, the tiresome feelings, the muscle or joint pains you are experiencing will all go away when you see how great this chunk of land baring itself in front of you which seem saying something like, "yeah, I know. I am AWESOME!"
This experience is one the highlights that will surely catch your attention and will be talked about during gatherings and chit-chats. Though you really need to spend a little more to fully enjoy the experience, a lot of people will say, "It's worth it."
Apparently, this is not about Mayon Volcano and its awesomeness. This is about one the persons that I know endured a lot of pain but still strives to continue inspite of the hurdles, spikes, and dread life has to offer. This photo is a representation of what she has to overcome, what trials she is experiencing right now, the hurt and the sorrow that fate and life caused. This also represents the toughness of her spirit, she as a mountain carrying all burdens on her back, the will to continue forward, her faith and determination to live for tomorrow even though her future has already been taken away. This also is a reminder of the mountain of problems she has to conquer, the mountain that she has to move, the truth she has to accept.
She is a mountain, the "Face of the Mountain". A territory no one dares enter.
